We put together a special Christmas episode of the game development show to help get you into the holiday spirit. In this episode we plan, draw, implement, and debug a completely new, Christmas-themed stage for our top-down 2D shooter, Project Spaghetti, going through many of the concepts that normally take us several episodes to cover. If you’ve never had time to see the show, this is a great (albeit weird) place to start! We edited out the more implementation-focused parts to keep it at 45 minutes and to make sure we don’t take too much time from present-unwrapping and eggnog sipping, but the unabridged version is available if you’re interested in all of the details.
