Steam offered up a lot of titles to try out this last weekend, so Eric took advantage of their generosity to jump into four games for Blue Tengu Unplugged. Two (Chivalry and Pool Nation) were for the free weekend, while two (Passing Pineview Forest and Fractured Space) were just plain free to play.
Chivalry: Medieval Warfare
Eric is trained by an odd cast of characters in this first-person going-medieval simulator and heads out into the chaos to get more limbs cut off than a Monty Python black night.
Passing Pineview Forest
A first-person forest-passing simulator, which has Eric out on a pleasantly creepy stroll through a forest he has no business passing, thanks to something stalking him from behind.
Fractured Space
Eric takes off into the final frontier to figure out what the multiplayer strategic space-combat game Fractured Space is about and even manages to sneak his way through hyperspace to victory.
Pool Nation
Although Eric scratched out in his first attempt at the billiards game Pool Nation, he makes up for it in this episode with games of 9-ball he wishes he could have in real life.
